Dosing
Built up gradually, reviewed at every step.
Mounjaro starts low and can be built up gradually, a process called titration. Each dose is taken for at least four weeks before any move up, which gives your body time to adjust and keeps side effects manageable.
2.5 mg
Every journey starts here. This dose is about letting your body get used to the medication, not maximum effect. Many people already notice quieter appetite within the first weeks.
You choose your dose at every step. If you'd like to move up, your clinician reviews it with you before it's prescribed; if a dose is working, you can stay on it. Not everyone needs the highest dose.
One pen, once a week. Easier than you think.
Mounjaro comes as a pre-filled pen you inject once a week, on the same day each week, with or without food. Most people find it far easier than they expected.
Keep pens in the fridge until first use, and rotate your injection site each week, stomach, thigh, or upper arm.

How do I know if I'm eligible for Mounjaro?
Eligibility is based on your consultation, including measurements, health history and goals. A UK-registered clinician makes the final decision. There's no charge to find out, and you're never pressured to proceed.
How is it taken?
Mounjaro is a once-weekly injection using a simple pre-filled pen. Your plan includes clear guidance on how and when to use it, and your dose is stepped up gradually under review.
What are the common side effects?
Most people tolerate tirzepatide well. Mild gastrointestinal effects, such as nausea, reduced appetite and occasional reflux, are common in the first four weeks and usually ease. If symptoms are severe or persist, contact your clinician. For severe abdominal pain radiating to the back, stop and seek urgent medical advice.
Can a clinician change my dose?
Yes. Dose and titration are reviewed against how you feel and respond. If a change is appropriate, your clinician issues an updated plan at your next review.
Can I pause or stop?
You're in control. You can pause or stop any time from your account, and your clinician will advise on doing so safely.
How much does Mounjaro cost in the UK?
Pricing is per dose and follows the dose you're on. On the monthly plan it's £145 a month for 2.5mg, rising to £275 for 15mg, delivery included. The 3-month plan is £5 a month less and the 6-month plan £10 a month less. You can also pay per order with no plan, for £20 more. New patients get £40 off their first month. If a UK-registered clinician decides treatment isn't right for you, you're refunded in full.
Why does the price change with the dose?
Treatment usually starts at 2.5mg and steps up over the first months as your body adjusts. Higher-strength pens cost more from the manufacturer, so the price rises with your dose — unless you and your clinician decide a lower dose is working well and stay there.
